Smart Tactical Helmet for Soldiers
Abstract
The Smart Military Helmet System is a technologically advanced solution developed to improve the safety and communication capabilities of soldiers operating in hazardous environments. This system combines various sensors and intelligent technologies, including temperature monitoring, impact detection through an accelerometer, infrared vision for low-light conditions, noise reduction mechanisms, and bone conduction audio for efficient communication. Wireless communication modules such as Raspberry Pi, GSM, and Bluetooth are used to transmit real-time data to a centralized control unit.
The helmet continuously tracks the soldier’s physical condition and detects critical events such as accidents or impacts. It also supports effective communication through an integrated microphone and communication modules, while visibility is enhanced using an anti-glare visor and infrared camera. The processed data is transmitted to a control center, enabling rapid response and better decision-making. Overall, the system represents a smart and efficient approach to enhancing battlefield safety and operational effectiveness.
